At Mella Salon, we are committed to providing exceptional service in a professional, respectful, and transparent environment. Please review the following policies before booking your appointment.
Pricing & Service Expectations
Service pricing may vary depending on the stylist you select, as well as your hair length, texture, thickness, and overall condition. Chemical services and hair extensions may require multiple sessions to achieve the desired result. Please note that results can vary based on your hair’s history, current state, and at-home care routine.
Hair Extensions & Treatments
Hair extensions whether tape-in, bonded, sewn, or clip-in can cause tension, discomfort, or potential damage to the natural hair and scalp depending on your individual hair type, maintenance routine, and how well aftercare instructions are followed. To maintain the health of your hair and the longevity of your extensions, proper aftercare is essential. Mella Salon is not responsible for any damage caused by improper maintenance or failure to follow aftercare guidelines.
Health & Safety
Clients are expected to disclose any allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions, or medications that could impact their service. While every precaution is taken, Mella Salon is not liable for allergic reactions, irritation, or undesired outcomes resulting from salon services or products.
Cancellations & No-Shows
A credit card is required to secure all appointments. Appointments without a card on file will be automatically canceled. We require at least 72 hours’ notice for any cancellations. Cancellations made with less than 72 hours’ notice or failure to show up for a scheduled appointment will result in a charge of 50% of the booked service. Guests who do not pay outstanding fees may be restricted from future bookings. A 15-minute grace period is allowed for late arrivals; arriving later may result in a shortened service or cancellation.
Payments & Refunds
Mella Salon accepts all major credit cards. We do not accept checks, Zelle, Cash App, or Venmo. A 3% processing fee is applied to all credit card transactions. Please note that all sales are final. Refunds are not offered under any circumstances.
