At Mella Salon, we are committed to providing exceptional service in a professional, respectful, and transparent environment. Please review the following policies carefully before booking your appointment.
By booking an appointment with Mella Salon, you confirm that you have read, understand, and agree to all policies outlined below.
Service pricing may vary depending on the stylist selected, as well as hair length, texture, thickness, density, and overall condition. Chemical services and hair extension services may require multiple sessions to achieve desired results.
Results are not guaranteed and may vary based on your hair’s history, prior treatments, current condition, and adherence to recommended at-home care. Mella Salon is not responsible for outcomes affected by factors outside of our control.
Hair extensions including tape-in, bonded, sewn, or clip-ins may cause tension, discomfort, or potential damage depending on individual hair type, scalp condition, maintenance routine, and adherence to aftercare instructions.
Proper aftercare is essential to maintain the integrity of your natural hair and extensions. Mella Salon is not responsible for damage resulting from improper maintenance, failure to follow aftercare guidelines, or third-party services.
Clients are required to disclose all allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions, medications, or prior reactions that may affect their service. While every precaution is taken, Mella Salon is not liable for allergic reactions, irritation, or undesired results related to services or products used.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to book all services, including online bookings.
Appointments will not be confirmed or held without payment of the required deposit.
Deposits are applied toward the total cost of your service.
Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances.
Deposits cannot be used as gratuity or applied toward retail or product purchases.
If you choose not to rebook, the deposit is forfeited and retained by the salon.
By submitting a deposit, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
A valid credit card is required to be kept on file for all appointments.
Appointments without a card on file will be automatically canceled.
The card on file may be charged for remaining service balances, cancellation fees, no-show fees, or policy violations in accordance with these policies.
We require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for any appointment cancellation or reschedule.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice or failure to show up for a scheduled appointment will result in a charge of 50% of the booked service.
This fee may be charged to the credit card on file in addition to any deposit already paid.
Guests who fail to pay outstanding balances or fees may be restricted from future bookings.
A 15-minute grace period is allowed for late arrivals. Arriving later than 15 minutes may result in a shortened service or cancellation at the stylist’s discretion, and applicable fees may still apply.
Mella Salon accepts all major credit cards.
We do not accept checks, Zelle, Cash App, or Venmo.
A 3% processing fee is applied to all credit card transactions.
All sales are final.
Refunds are not offered under any circumstances, including deposits, services rendered, missed appointments, cancellations, or dissatisfaction.
